Stepper Motors and Drives

Definition:
OMEGA (OMS series) of hybrid and high torque stepper motors are produced in two phase (1.8 degree/step) and three phase (1.2 degree/step) models.
The rotor consists of tooth shaped high magnetic intensity materials and the stator has a two or three phase winding wound in the tooth shaped stator slots to produce proper phase sequence to make the rotor to rotate in appropriate step angle.
Specification:
Of the important features of the OMEGA (OMS series) stepper motors are:
- Compact design,
- wide range of products with holding torque of 0.1 N.m. up to 35 N.m.,
- flange size from 42 mm up to 130 mm,
- flange mounted structure.
While the basic features for KAPPA (KP2 and KP3 series) stepper drives are:
- Pulse input command (pulse+dir, cw+ccw),
- AC or DC input supply voltage, according to models,
- adjustable micro stepping division,
They can definitely be used in applications with moderate accuracy in positioning, moderate response time, frequent start-stop programs, high torque at standstill and low speed with the least imaginable total cost.
