Flexible Couplings

Definition:
Precision flexible couplings are zero backlash mechanical parts (flexible joints) which are fixed between two rotating shafts (usually between motor and load) to compensate for any misalignment (angular or radial) of shaft axes, make them able to rotate smoothly without seizure.
