Machining Units

Definition:

These are special-purpose machines for making hole (drilling), finishing the size of a hole (boring) or tapping on the parts which are individually manufactured.

Due to the rigid construction, innovative design and high efficiency performance, they can be chosen as a section in a production line, drilling station, boring station and tapping station or alike.

Specification:

• Drilling capacity is from 5mm up to 50mm bore diameter in mild steel with maximum stroke of 200mm for bigger holes.

• Tapping capacity is from 0.25mm up to 3.0mm thread size with maximum of 90mm stroke length.

• Pneumatic, hydraulic or electric (servo) driven for stroke control.

• Selection of pneumatic or electric limit switches is available.

• Flow control device can be added as an option for units which control the stroke by pneumatic.

• Coolant through spindle is available upon request.

• Torque protection device is included in tapping units to reduce tap breakage.

• Suitable for horizontal or vertical or any angle in tilt installation applications.

• Gauge is internally lubricated by grease in tapping units.

• Drilling and tapping units can be separate or combined in one unit.
